Chocolate!

When we got there we went straight to the Chocolate Cookery Theatre, which was really just some chairs under a tent and a stove and counter at the front, where we had planned to see someone cook with chocolate but apparently the schedule changed, lol you should here a Brit say schedule it sounds funny they say like shedual. (Not trying to make fun of the British, it just sounds funny to me:) So instead we got to listen to a man from Thorntons talk about their new chocolates, but most importantly we got to taste them! 😛

After that we were still quite hungry so we decided to go get a sandwich, so we went around the corner to the Eat, which is just a sandwich shop, so nothing very fancy. When we were done we went back to the festival to taste some more chocolates and wait until the next show thing in the Theatre. One particular stand called, Chock Chick, I found very interesting was selling raw chocolate making kits which of course being a soon to be chocolatier had to purchase-more details about that soon. Apparently this is the most healthy kind of chocolate because it had not been cooked yet, which I didn’t care about that, all I really cared about was getting to make my own chocolate and you only need the three ingredients that come in the kit.

Once we had looked around for a while and sampled most of the chocolate we headed back to the theatre to catch the 2:00 showing of How to be a Chocolate Connoisseur from seventypercent.com. It was very interesting and I learned that if you eat chocolate slower than it actually does taste better! They had us do many different things such as smelling different smells and defining them, slow motion eat chocolate, super speed eat it, and smell it.

After that was over we went back to the stands and mum bought some chocolate beer, henry bought a chocolate bar and I got a chocolate kit. We decided that we were done there and went home.
